We are currently in the beginning stages of development of this centre, which will allow 40 young boys from underprivileged areas with an aptitude for football to participate in competitions as part of the federated leagues in the cadet and juvenile division.

Part of the CEDI mission will be to develop various occupational programs focusing on both leisure and sport for at-risk immigrant children so as to facilitate cultural integration, preventing gang affiliation by providing leisure and education opportunities while promoting healthy alternatives to hanging out on street corners drinking.

Along with their athletic training, CEDI will facilitate professional apprenticeships via the centre´s cooperation with businesses. The objective is clear: given that a minority of players find a professional future in the world of sports after two years of participation in the CEDI, they will have acquired real-world skills which will allow them to return to their mother country at age 17 with training which permits them to help benefit their countries.
